In a Nutshell
I have over thirty years experience in the helicopter industry, both as an instructor and in agricultural aviation. I have over 17,000 hours as a commercial pilot, and most of it has been spent pretty near to the ground! In addition to being an FIC I am a Flight and Ground examiner for the CAA. I own my own aircraft and have ready access to additional aircraft and types if required.
I’m based at Peterborough Business Airfield (Peterborough Conington), but in any week it is likely that I will have been involved in operations anywhere in the UK or Eire. At Conington I give several hundreds of hours of instruction each year, mostly toward PPL(H) or CPL(H) qualifications, but this also includes training and examinations for night ratings and type ratings.
